BIRESH SHAH
Architecture, Urban Design and Planning.
Biresh Shah completed his Bachelor of Architecture from School of
Planning and architecture, New Delhi. Subsequently, he completed his
Master of Science in Architecture Studies from Massachusetts Institute
of Technology. He has worked in New Delhi, Bombay and Boston, besides
Kathmandu. In the past 15 years, he has undertaken a wide range of
architecture projects, urban design and conservation projects as well as
urban planning work. He worked as deputy team leader and principal urban
planner/ designer for the
Harisiddhi New Town Development Project,
a major city extension project for Kathmandu promoted by the Government.
He is architecture and planning advisor to Siddhartha University
Project, near Kathmandu. He has taught architecture design, urban
design/conservation and planning at Tribhuwan University. He has Also
Designed several projects as consultant architect with other firms, like
The
Dhaulagiri Techinical
School Campus in Lete, Mustang
SANJAY THAPA
Architecture,
Landscape Design, Interior Design.
Sanjay Thapa completed his Bachelor of Architecture from School of
Architecture and Planning, New Delhi. He has worked in New Delhi,
Darjeeling and Rajasthan, where he was project architect for the
The Taj Jaisalmer, a deluxe five-star
hotel.
He has undertaken extensive research work of vernacular architecture in
Darjeeling, Rajasthan, and various parts of Nepal. In the past decade,
he has undertaken a wide range of architecture projects in Nepal. In
Kathmandu, He has worked as a project architect with the Hyatt Regency
Hotel in Kathmandu. He is currently involved as a design/planning
consultant with
Mizoram University,
India. He also teaches architecture design at Tribhuwan University.
He is currently on leave from Archiplan to
pursue graduate study in Urban Design at the Graduate School of Design,
Harvard University.
DEEPAK PANT
Architecture,
Urban Conservation, Ecological Planner.
Deepak Pant completed his Bachelor of Architecture from the National
College of Art, Lahore. Subsequently he completed his Master of Urban
Ecological Planning from NTNU, Trondheim, Norway. In his experience of
more than 15 years, he has undertaken a wide range of architecture
projects, urban conservation/ heritage preservation projects. He was the
principal consultant architect for the National
Theater Project in Kathmandu. He was the project architect
for the Detailed Documentation and conservation proposal preparation for
The Sundari Chowk Project, Patan Durbar Square world heritage site, a
UNESCO project.
He teaches architecture design, urban conservation, and heritage
preservation at Tribhuwan University. He has also been involved in
several research projects on built form heritage of the Kathmandu
valley. He is currently team leader for the preparation of
Handigau
Conservation Master Plan for Kathmandu Metropolitan
Corporation.
JHARNA JOSHI
Urban Conservation,
Heritage Preservation and Management
Jharna Joshi completed her Bachelor of Architecture from Tsinghua
University, Beijing, Subsequently, she completed her Master of Science
in Historic
Preservation from University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, as a
Fulbright Scholar. She has worked on several architectural/heritage
preservation projects in the Kathmandu Valley and in Philadelphia Southwest USA.
She has worked in the preparation of heritage management plan of
Kathmandu city. She is also involved as a senior consultant for Heritage
Management for Lalitpur Sub-Metropolitan city. SHRISH BHATT

Shrish Bhatt completed her Bachelor of Architecture from Tsinghua University, Beijing, Subsequently, she completed her Diploma in Architectural Conservation from University of York. She has worked on several architectural design, architectural conservationj and heritage management project in Nepal, China and Thailand. RUP MAN SHAKYA

Rup Man Shakya is an electrical engineer, with over 30 years experience
in design and implementation of Electrical systems in a wide range of
Buildings in Nepal.
MIHIR MISRA
Interior Design,
Project Management
Mihir Misra is a graduate of School of Planning and Architecture, New
Delhi. He has extensive experience in Design and planning,
implementation and project management of large Interior projects. He has
worked for the Oberoi Groups of Hotels and the Welcome Group, as
designer and project manager. He has recently completed the Interior
design for the extension of Hotel Shangri-La in Kathmandu.
BHARAT SHARMA
Landscape
Architecture and Planning
Bharat Sharma has more than 20 years experience as a Landscape architect
and environmental planner. He completed his Master of Landscape
Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design. He is a
professor at the Nepal Engineering College.
PREM NATH MASKEY
Structural Design
P.N. Maskey has worked for more than 20 years as a structural engineer.
During this period he has designed a wide range of structures in all
parts of Nepal. He has recently finished his Ph.D. on Seismicity in
building structures in Kathmandu valley. He is a professor at Tribhuwan
University.
RAJESH PRASAD

Design and Planning
Rajesh Prasad is a mechanical engineer with over 25 years of experience
in the design, planning and execution of all sanitation/drainage related
work. He has been a consultant to a wide range of projects in Nepal,
including a large number of hotels.
ARJUN DHUNGANA
Electrical Design
Arjun Dhungana is an electrical engineer, with over 20 years experience
in design and implementation of Electrical systems in a wide range of
Buildings in Nepal. He has been electrical design consultant to the
Soaltee Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza and Tribhuwan International Airport,
Kathmandu.

Project management
P.D. Mulmi is a civil engineer, with over 25 years experience in
quantity survey, construction supervision, preparation of construction
specifications of a wide range of architecture projects in Nepal.
MANOJ JUNG RANA

Manoj Rana completed his Bachelor of Engineering from the University of
Roorkee. He has over ten years experience in construction management of
building projects. He worked for over five years as construction manager
with the Hyatt Regency Hotel project in Kathmandu.
